Show Up

Keep showing up. You’ve got this. Even when no one is waiting, show up. Even when it feels hard, show up. Even when it feels like you aren’t going forward, show up. Even when no one is cheering, show up!! Keep showing up. For you. For your dreams. For your future. For your God given visions and goals. Show up for the significant other you haven’t even met yet. Show up even when your spouse says you can’t and won’t. Show up for the babies who will grow into men and women and change the world. Show up and step into your calling. Show up and show people the greatness you possess. Show up and let your potential be realized: One foot in front of the other. Over and over. In the dark. In the silence. In the challenges. In the struggle. Show up.

You’ll start to notice progress. The baby steps felt small and insignificant but you’re moving. People will be waiting for you. And you’ll be there over and over again, still showing up. They will start watching you. And keep watching you. Then, you’ll hear it…ever so faint then louder and louder….they will start cheering for you. Your path will get brighter. Your goals will be accomplished, one at a time, first small then bigger and bigger. Your dreams will feel closer and more possible each day. You will find your running buddy and a cheerleader or two. The mud will dry. The sun will come out. The mountains will flatten to hills and finally a path that feels easier.

And then, you will find success and be able to say “I didn’t quit. I just kept showing up!”
